Foreign and Domestic Ship Management in the Philippines

CD Ship Management & Marine Services Corp. (CDSHIPMAN) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chelsea Shipping Corp., headquartered at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Philippines. CD SHIPMAN was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on 14th March 2018 with Company Reg. No. CS201803260.

CDSHIPMAN is engaged in ship management and is authorized to act as agent, broker, ship chandler and/or representative of foreign/domestic shipping corporations and individuals for the purpose of managing, operating, supervising, administering and developing the operation of vessels.  Its ship management services include marine and technical support, procurement and crew supply and management.  CDSHIPMAN is capable of managing roll-on/roll-off ships, passenger ferries, container ships and general cargo ships.

CDSHIPMAN aims to achieve and maintain reliability, safety and cost effectiveness at the highest level and to ensure that the operation of its managed vessels is carried out in accordance with International Safety Management (ISM Code) as well as compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

History

Over the past eight years since the incorporation of CDShipman in 2018, managed fleet has grown from fifteen (15) vessels to 17-vessel fleet, including 14 ROPAX vessels acquired since 2015 built by Kegoya Dock Company in Japan. Another 67-meter brand new vessel is being built by Kegoya to be delivered by mid-year 2026.

Of the seventeen (17) vessels in the fleet – twelve (12) are owned by Starlite Ferries Inc. (Starlite Resilience / Starlite Venus / Starlite Sprint 1 / Starlite Archer / Starlite Saturn / Starlite Eagle / Starlite Reliance / Starlite Pioneer / Starlite Jupiter / Starlite Pacific / Starlite Annapolis and Starlite Tamaraw).

Five (5) are Chartered (Trans Asia 20 / Starlite Stella Maris / SWM Salve Regina / SWM Stella Del Mar and Starlite Saga).

From the few ports in Mindoro and Batangas served by these manned vessels, the Ports of Call or destinations has been expanded to the following: Batangas, Calapan (Oriental Mindoro), Roxas (Oriental Mindoro), Odiongan (Tablas), Romblon (Romblon), Magdiwang or Cajidiocan (Sibuyan) in Luzon / MIMAROPA areas.

Caticlan (Aklan), Cebu, Surigao, Nasipit, Dapitan, Larena, Oroquieta in the Visayas and Mindanao ports.
