On 17 August 2019, marking its sixth year of partnership with the Municipality of San Nicolas
and City Environment and Natural Resources Office – Department of Environment and Natural
Resources (CENRO-DENR), Chelsea Group planted an additional one thousand (1,000)
seedlings to carpet the slopes of Taal Volcano in a treeplanting activity held at Brgy. Alas-as,
San Nicolas, Batangas.

Since its incorporation in 2016, the Chelsea Group has already planted three thousand two
hundred (3,200) seedlings as part of DENR’s National Greening Program (NGP). These trees
are now in various states of growth – from tiny buds and seedlings to young trees which
reminds us why we continue our initiative – that our efforts no matter the scale – are not futile.
